Listening to Grasshoppers

Shows how our taken-for-granted notion about our ‘democratic’ practice fails to address the crisis that the people face helplessly when state terrorism lets loose its might on Kashmir, Gujarat and many other places of India–the India that is supposed to be incredible! Clearly shows that “progress” and genocide go hand in hand in our country. In a way, this journey of developmentism and repression on its own people began as early as 1990 when neo-economic reforms and Hindu fanaticism amalgamated together and emerged as a dangerous repressive phenomena in India.
